So Jaxon’s Pursuit will be out hopefully tomorrow. In the meantime, I’ve got a sneak peek at Savage Duty. You get a quick glimpse of Finn Savage in Jaxon and Ruby’s story but what you don’t know is that his best friend died in the army and his last words to Finn were take care of my little sister and let her know I didn’t suffer. She’ll worry. By the time Finn makes it home to check on the woman he’s been writing to, she’s gotten married to another man. Finn falls in love but refuses to muddle her life. He goes with Bishop to start the gym and tries to forget Ireland. Until her marriage breaks up and she contacts him. Unable to push her away, Finn invites her to move in with him. Just being near her every day is a torture he’s willing to revel in to be near her. Until a night with a sick child brings them closer and brings hidden desires bubbling to the surface. Soon, it’s a fight to stay away when all they want is to fall into each other’s arms. But Jaxon feels guilty for wanting his lost friend’s sister and Ireland isn’t sure she’s ready to love again, not when it’s not just her heart to consider.
So this one is kind of a friends to lovers story. And don’t forget to look for Jaxon’s Pursuit this week!
And now, a little bit about me. Yeah, I’m not that exciting. I work and I love puzzles of all kinds. I love to edit my own or anybody else’s work, really. I guess I’m a bit of a nerd with a sweater fetish like the mom in the Goldberg’s only mine aren’t sparkly horrors. Just cozy and cuddly. I love to be warm and comfortable since I live in Ohio and right now it’s cold.
I have done all kinds of jobs from stores to perfume door to door sales to Air Force. But my favorite was my first in the children’s section of the library. Loved it!
I can’t wait for you to meet the shy, injured Ruby and her forever love, the sweet, soft-hearted, alpha Jaxon.
